What healing means to you?

Healing is a word I have been using a lot recently, but what does it really mean? If we look at the word itself in Old English hælan means to cure; save; make whole, sound and well. Does it mean we were broken before or in any other way damaged? Is there an ultimate healed and healthy and whole state we are supposed to be in or is it just another illusion generated to sell more self-healing tools, books, and courses?
How I see it now is - healing is work you put in constantly to be content in the present moment with yourself and with the world around you. To constantly learn and unlearn everything that made you feel less or not enough. To discover parts of yourself where you have chosen to see yourself as unworthy and decide to break that pattern, so you are not carrying this unnecessary struggle further that keeps us separated from each other.
Healing is a deep acceptance of yourself as a whole, of your circumstances, of your pain, and your joy.
Healing is knowing that there is nothing wrong about you and nothing to fix, because if you know that there is nothing wrong, and still choose to blame yourself and everything around you and limit your potential because of that, then you put yourself in a contradiction, that doesn’t allow you to move past it and see us a whole.
Healing for each of us will have our own unique flavor, it’s impossible to compare the processes because each of our patterns will be slightly different, and we need to explore and work on all of them, to heal the whole.
Healing can be avoiding pain and healing can be in separation, as well as it can be speaking up and fighting. There is not a single right way and all of these processes are necessary to explore, because we are a part of a very diverse nature, and going against it would be going against ourselves and creating more dissonance.
Healing is wholly embodying that inner wisdom that nature has, that you have, by fully trusting yourself in every decision you make, because you know it is coming from that deeper knowing, that in which you know you are not hiding anything or pretending to be someone you are not, just because it is easier to comply or maybe sometimes even separate yourself from everyone around you.
Healing is a paradox in itself because we were never broken, and we have forgotten it.
So healing for me is a path to remembering that I am whole. 🖤
Here's a video of me finding this tune a total jam and vibing out.
This is healing for me, this is remembering myself, by allowing my body to feel and move intuitively, having a cup of tea, and journaling!
So, what is healing for you?
